O2 have decided not to stock the new BlackBerry PlayBook here in the UK even after they originally signed up when it was first announced and even had a coming soon page for the tablet.
O2 have come out and explained the reason behind the change of heart was “unfortunately there are some issues with the end to end customer experience”.
Maybe because the demand was too short when compared to other tablet devices such as a Motorola Xoom or the Apple iPad 2 it would have been too much expense to pay out to get such little return.
Either way this is a big set back for RIM as the PlayBook was their tablet entry into an already popular market and with a massive network now saying they will not sell it this could have a knock on effect with other networks and re-sellers.
