Sony Ericsson have just announced the Ray and Active phones over in Singapore. Information is just coming through at the moment but here are two pictures and some information from FoneArena who are there…
XPERIA Ray
The Ray reminds us of the one of Sony Ericsson devices was leaked earlier. It sports a 8.1 MP Camerawith Exmor R optics. The 3.3 inch display is powered by the Mobile Bravia Engine. The phone is powered by a 1GHz processor and runs on Android Gingerbread.
XPERIA Active
The Active is an interesting phone. It is dustproof and waterproof. It is powered by a 1GHz processor and runs on Android Gingerbread. It sports a 5MP camera
Both these phones are expected to hit the market in Q3 2011. Pricing has not been revealed but we’ll keep you posted as details emerge. It’s great to see the Exmor R optic technology appearing yet again – we were particularly impressed with the Xperia Arc and the image quality.
