The HTC Eternity popped up on the web recently. It’s running Windows Phone “Mango” and is apparently 9.9mm thick even with the huge 4.7″ 480×800 Super LCD screen. Powered by a 1.5GHz CPU it has a dual-LED flash, 720p HD video camera with the 8 megapixel rear camera plus another 1.3 megapixel shoter up front.
DLNA functionality, GPS, Bluetooth 2.1, WiFi and an FM radio is also rumoured and it has a 1650mAh battery.

And 16GB on board memory. TBH I think this is the very least any WinPhone should have. And I was kinda hoping the next batch of phones would see 32GB & even 64GB . 🙁
Oh well, I’m tied into a contract with my Desire HD for another year & a half before I can consider WinPhone again. Let’s hope there’s some real killer devices by then.
Surprised to see just 512MB RAM. Is this likely to be an issue? Or is WP7 really efficient with its memory management?
Cant comment on the tech side but from a personal point of view it does a fantasic job, been running it on an HD2 (512MB) for months now and without a doubt its the most slick/smooth OS i have ever had the pleasure of using on any device an this from 2 year old hardware!
