Roaming costs are just silly. You know it, we know it. New limits of 32p per minute for outgoing calls, 10p per minute for incoming calls and 45p per megabyte will be applied from today with a £45 limit of data consumption, provided you’re roaming within Europe (all prices plus VAT).
The bad news ? Back here in the UK another operator is set to increase Pay As You Go prices. Vodafone recently ramped up their prices to 25p per minute for calls and 12p per text, now Orange are doing exactly the same with calls costing 25p per minute and texts 12p each.
The other networks apparently have no plans to increase their prices as yet and you may still be able to get a discount if you purchase a Pay As You Go package.
I assume this is only for roaming in Europe.
