Ok, the title isn’t exactly right, but there isn’t room to put the detail!
According to BGR Apple have won a preliminary injunction in Germany that could effectively block the sales of the Galaxy Tab in all Euro union countries except Holland where there is a similar case ongoing.
Samsung could be liable for payments of $350,000 for each violation (Yeah, I’m sure that would happen!) Samsung will of course appeal this, whether an appeal will lift the ban I don’t know, but I do know it’s jolly annoying if you had your eye on grabbing a SG Tab 10.1″ !
I’ve been deliberately vague as I’m not sure of the ins and outs of this or even how much truth there is in all this, please don’t lynch me if it’s not correct, but I thought it was an important item.
Now, I’m taking this with a pinch of salt personally, I can’t see this actually coming into full effect, but it does make my blood boil! All this ridiculous legal action about patents is not doing us the customer any good at all, I mean, when was the last time Apple actually bought something innovative to the table? (Please don’t start a flame war in the comments!)

Edit:
The guys at Androidcommunity have caught up with Samsung who have issued a statement regarding this and it’s rather surprising!
I’ve pasted the Samsung quote below from android community:
Now, I’m no lawyer, but if that quote is correct it’s frankly beggars believe, how on earth can you ban a product for sale if the company in question isn’t aware of the injunction being filed?
I better get one before they’re banned from the UK then! Not sure if there are any left now that they’ve all been looted. 🙁
You can’t blame Apple for trying – the tab is the most credible competitor to the iPad and Samsung have already made massive inroads to the smartphone market with the SII, so could, given a LOT of time, catch up in the tablet market too.
Apple sucks; all their products sucks.
Steve Jobs is a scared little gay who has always been afraid to get in the ring. It’s like watching a boxing fight where one contestant brags on and on about his strength and skill until the fights begins when he screams like a little girl to the ref about the his rival’s shorts being wrong, his shoelace being untied, the gong wasn’t hit correctly, the girl is ugly, etc… everything he can do to avoid actual fighting.
If Apple’s products are truly so great, then why be so scared? Fight the market and costumer battle, let the costumers decide which product is better.
Run to your mommy Steve Jobs. You brag on and on, but when the big guys come you run to your mommy to protect you like a little girl.
