Everything Everywhere, the company formed by the “merger” of Orange and T-Mobile has a new executive Olaf Swantee, and on his second day in the job he has reduced the senior management team from 25 to 10 people.
What stands out though, is that all the former T-Mobile executives, including the former head of T-Mobile, Richard Moat, all lost their jobs – leaving a senior team with no former T-Mobile employees on it.
Earlier in the year we saw some early indications of Orange’s dominance in the new company, when they tried to impose Orange’s data caps on T-Mobile customers (fortunately they reversed the decision for existing customers), but is this the beginning of the end of T-Mobile in the UK?
