dont you think its about time they started getting this more universal ????
Exactly want announcement is this, stay tuned, it is a waffle comment, if you get a HTC you know they have to wait from them to paste Sense on top, looking forward SE and Motorola have the upper hand.
Motorola stink at upgrading Android outside North America. Sony Ericsson have confirmed “all” 2011 phones will be getting ICS.
Personally I see the Sensation and (2011) Evo range getting ICS for sure. Otherwise I wouldn’t count on it.
The Desire HD, Thunderbolt, Deisre S and Incredible S (Incredible 2) really should too but they’re single core and more crutially “aren’t” running Sense 3.x, they’re all on some flavour of Sense 2.x. There’s no chance the Desire, Legend, Wildfire or Wildfire S will get it.
Can you see HTC going to the effort to upgrade Android on phones running old versions of Sense?
I’m most interested to hear when the Samsung Galaxy S2 will get it? I don’t believe TouchWiz is baked so much into Android as Sense is. Except for the much lower resolution (Super AMOLED vs. Super AMOLED Plus though) the Galaxy S2 easily trumps the Galaxy Nexus.
