I’m meeting a lot of people at the moment who are planning to upgrade to the rather excellent Galaxy SII. I always agree with them because, in all honesty, it’s an absolutely fantastic device. Just to confirm that, the Galaxy SII has won another award. This time it’s the What Mobile “Phone of the Year” award.
The Samsung device also won the “Best Phone for Multimedia” award, which was given out in London after thousands of readers voted in each category. The SII has already scooped “Phone of the Year” in the T3 Gadget Awards and the Mobile Choice Awards.
Other noteable wins include the Nokia Lumia 800, which grabbed the “Editors Choice Award”, the iPhone 4 for the “Best Phone for Business” and the iPad 2 for the “Best Tablet”. Get the full details below…

I don’t fully understand your use of English there. As you can see from their site they awarded it Mobile Phone of the Year

..plus there’s the award itself, which has, “Mobile Phone of the Year” emblazoned across at it, but who am I to pick flies ?
It quite clearly says “winner, mobile phone of the year”.
Which part of the ARTICLE qualifies as “Poor very poor artical”

Seems like they’ve got so many categories for the same thing to keep the advertisers happy. Hasn’t the Lumia just come out? Anyway, the Sammy deserves the gong!
Phone of the year, twice! where is our 2.3.5 for the ubranded handsets? I would have thought that the flagship Samsung phone of the year would have the very latest software.
Well, you can add Ice Cream Sandwich… although it’s still in testing 😉
