Vodafone have put massive investment into a new team for their retail stores, customer services and online and these are called the ‘Tech Team’
Tech Team is there to not only help get you setup with your new device, but be a point of contact if you ever need any help from creating an email account on the phone to setting up your mobile broadband on a laptop or tablet.
Part of this new service on YouTube is for ‘Webinars’ which is an online video tutorial of how to get started on certain phones. These are live but get recorded to be uploaded later on YouTube so you can go back to them.
At present there are 2 available to see, these are on t e HTC Explorer and the new Nokia Lumia 800 recently launched.

What stands out from these videos is they seem very interactive and not the normal typical ‘recorded’ setup with a voiceover and a mouse clicking a screen, you actually have a real person there talking through the features with you .

That Android phone there is a piece of crap. You have to press firmly for it tor respond. No wonder the person has to hold it in his hand. Unlike the Nokia which is very fluid, slick and elegant.
copying o2????? they have the guru setup which seems far more professional and informative!!!
I wish all the best to Vodafone for this project – however their main difference between the O2 ‘Guru’ is YES they will help you setup and email account, etc.etc but ONLY if you are a Vodafone customer, where as O2 Guru’s are completely impartial and will work on ANY network phone, O2 customer or not.
dear lord, now we have instructions on how to turn a mobile phone on, sorry but if anyones that thick they should pack up the phone and give it back to voicedateFone
thats voicedataFone
