The Optimus L5 is part of the new L-Style range from LG. The version we snapped here looked really good in white and there’s a definite quality feel about it. It’s in the middle of their range – the L3 is the entry-level, this is more mid-tier and the L7 is at the top of the ladder. The L5 has 4.0″ HVGA (320×480) screen and is 9.68mm thick.
Running the very latest Android version (ICS / Ice Cream Sandwich / 4.0), it also gets NFC support (note the NFC logo at the rear and something called “DHRI”, which stands for “High Dynamic Range Imaging” for an improved UX.
Sadly the CPU is no better than the L3 but you do at least get a 5 megapixel camera with a flash.
We gave it a quick hands-on and snapped some up-close shots for you guys.
