Friday lunchtime has come around again. As usual here is our weekly dose of strange Android apps.
First up we have “BurpZ!” which is a burp soundboard. Which believe it or not is quite good. If you like that sort of thing. They have actually recorded real people burping and used that audio clip for the app. Normally these soundboards are awful quality. Not sure about the market description. “make your mom or girlfriend want to puke” powerful stuff here people beware. It is also leaving users very confused, as shown by one review show below.
“BurpZ! Is a fun way to gross out your friends.Make your mom or girlfriend puke! Check it out, make your mom or girlfriend want to puke. Let’s face it that’s always a good time.”
Kiera gave it 1 star “kiera on March 8, 2010 (Version 1.0) It is so gross I hate it. But I like it to”
Next up is “HypnoMe” which is an app to hypnotise people. Yes to HYPNOTISE people. As always the market description shows the levels of delusion of the developer.
“HypnoMe will help you relax when you are stressed and fall into a trance.
This application will amaze you and your friends!
Here some possible use of the astonishing power of HypnoMe:
– get a pay rise from your evil boss
– make your girlfriend stay home with you on a Saturday night, to watch a whole Star Trek series season
Features:
4 different turning spirals
Hypnotizing sound”
I am hoping someone reading this attempts to get a pay rise with this app this afternoon. My boss isn’t really sure what a mobile phone is (phone on wheels maybe) and if I was to shove this app in his face whilst going “give me a pay rise” I am sure things wouldn’t end the way I wanted.
Lastly “Choice of Pee” which at first I thought “here we go again” but no this takes strange pointless toilet based apps/games to a whole new level. The market description is odd. I can’t remember seeing many dogs or monsters in the toilet…
“Where is the toilet?
In the civilized city, everyone must open correct door of toilet.
Man, woman, dog, monster, nurse….
Which one is suitable for you?”
So you just basically match the icons up. Why they chose a toilet door sign theme I’m not sure. It’s certainly different.
