For those not lucky enough to own one of the Nexus family Google are promising to roll the update out to more devices “in the coming weeks.”
How do I get it? I have a Nexus S with ICS 4.0.3 and a Motorola Xoom Wifi with Honeycomb 3.2, both currently say they are up to date
Billinge, the update will be pushed to your devices automatically quite soon all being well, however if your nexus is rooted the good folks over at xda-developers have made a stock image that you can flash but its not for the feint of heart if you are unsure what you are doing.
Thanks for that. I’ve not rooted my devices, I don’t have the time or the patience, I did manage to load the ICS 4.0.3 update onto my Nexus S without having to wait for the OTA update however. I guess I’ll just have to sit tight. Thanks
Woohoo, ICS 4.0.4 is downloading onto my Nexus S now over wifi (available until 9th April) not available on my Xoom yet though.
My Nexus S now has a yellow tint to the screen since the update!
