HTC are more than aware how quicky the mobile industry changes. In Barcelona we saw how eager Fujitsu, ZTE and Huawei were to take bigger bites of the mobile market. HTC have realised that their previous “carpet bombing” technique, introducing handsets for almost every segment and user, wasn’t working as well as hoped. Now there’s a more focused range of handsets with specs and designs with the One Series, but HTC has had a big financial hit this quarter.
Shares dipped up to 6.8% after the company reported a 70% net profit fall from Q1 2011. A 35% drop in revenue was also reported amidst strong competition from other manufacturers.

if only they’d make a phone with a decent battery life !!! it’s so obvious to everyone who has or reviews a HTC phone it seems except them!
