HTC have sent us their new, and very red, Desire C. Previously known as the “Golf” this does remind me of the HTC Wildfire now that I’ve got it in my hand. The Desire C has only a 600MHz CPU and 3.5″ 320×480 pixel screen, but the rather funky colour and screen trim make it rather trendy.
Features include Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, microSD expansion and 25GB of Dropbox storage out of the box (for 2 years). There’s Beats Audio (although no Beats headphones) and attractive price-point too, so this is bound to appeal to many during these times of austerity.
It’s available in white, black and the red colour you see here. Dive into the shots below..

600mhz processor 🙁 surely in this ICS world we live in they should have chucked in a 1ghz unit?
Whats the point in 25gig of storage for such a budget phone? No flash means limited photo opportunities, I’ll bet the camera unit isn’t that great either.
OK it’s got beats, but 25gig of storage for music?
You’ve got a microSD card too. The 25GB is Dropbox online storage
