A few websites have been throwing around a possible launch date of the new iPhone – August 7th. If true this gives us less than a month away. There have been leaked photos (like the one below) of what we are expecting the new flagship phone from Apple to look like, but then again many sites have images of what they expect it to look like and could all be wrong.
KnowYourMobile say they have exclusive information from an industry source stating…
A reliable industry source who wishes to remain anonymous revealed to Know Your Mobile that Appleās highly-anticipated and much-rumoured iPhone 5 will be launched via a keynote speech on August 7.
Whilst August 7th sounds like a great date, it’s very doubtful that anyone outside of Apple have information on an announcement date and we are expecting many different sites to claim at having ‘a reliable source’, especially with the iPhone being a highly followed and searched for item which attracts a lot of website traffic. Sure, we are willing to be proved wrong, especially as quite a few of the CoolSmartPhone team will be wanting to pick one up, myself included.
Oh, and are you looking for some more photos? The following leaked shots have appeared on MobileDaily..

No chance. I’d guess late September or early October.
