If you own a Nexus device first of all let me congratulate you. Secondly you probably have come across the factory images. These factory images let you totally wipe your device and restore it to the day you bought it.
Ideal if you flash new roms, kernels and radios and you break something. They are flashed using fastboot which you can normally access even if the device is a bit broken. So the factory image is essential if you break something.
With the release of Jelly Bean and the Nexus 7 a lot of people have been wondering where the factory images were. They released an image for the Nexus 7 but the Nexus S and the Galaxy Nexus were left waiting patiently.
Obviously these devices could get custom roms or ota updates. But for people who had broke something things were a little complicated. They had to reflash an ics image and then update ota.
Well the wait is over. It seems that during the night Jelly Bean images for the Nexus S and the Galaxy Nexus have been posted on the Google Android developers site.
So if you have a Nexus head over to the link below and get your image for use in emergency.
