Motorola yesterday announced three new phones. One of which the RAZR M we looked at separately earlier on today as it’s rumoured to be coming to the UK. The other two phones we haven’t anything about yet. The RAZR HD and the RAZR MAXX HD.
Get the best entertainment on-the-go and long-lasting battery life with Motorola RAZR™ HD. With a slim, premium design and 4.7-inch HD display, the Android 4.0-powered Motorola RAZR HD is built for all day action– on a single charge. Take in up to 7 hours of your favorite YouTube™ shows, or listen to 20 hours of your favorite streaming music. Surf with Chrome™ for Android browser at 4G speeds for 6 hours, or chat for 16 hours straight. With SMARTACTIONS™, you can add even more hours of fun. Motorola RAZR HD is also made from the tough materials you expect from the Motorola RAZR family, including a Corning® Gorilla Glass® display, DuPont™ KEVLAR® fiber and splash-guard coating, as well as the best of Google – built right in.
here is the blurb about the MAXX HD
DROID RAZR MAXX HD takes battery power to a whole new level—going not just day and night, but overnight with up to 32 hours of performance. It can get you through a full Hollywood trilogy, 8 hours of Web browsing on Chrome™ for Android with 4G LTE1 speeds and up to 8 hours of voice-guided turn by turn GPS navigation. It also has a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED HD display. Like the rest of the DROID RAZR family, DROID RAZR MAXX HD features premium design materials, including a Corning® Gorilla Glass® display, DuPont™ KEVLAR® fiber1 and water-repellent nanocoating, SMARTACTIONS™ for even longer battery life (as if you really need it…) and the very best of Google built right in.
These are bigger screened devices with a bigger chassis and a slightly higher memory capacity. So far they have only been shown in black and the MAXX variant will have the huge extended battery. Here are the specs for both
- Android 4.0.4, Ice Cream Sandwich (upgradeable to Jelly Bean)
- Size/Dimensions – 67.9mm(x) 131.9mm(y) 8.4mm(z) or 9.3mm on the MAXX variant
- Display – 4.7” 720p Super AMOLED HD Display
- Weight – 146g
- Processor – 1.5 GHz dual-core
- Battery – 2530mAh or 3300mAH on the MAXX variant
- NFC (SIM based)
- Camera – 8 MP, 1.3 MP P2P Video, 8x Digital Zoom, Auto Focus, LED Flash
- Storage & Memory – 1GB RAM x 16GB ROM , 12GB user available memory, expandable with optional microSD card
We may never get to see these in the UK, but I think that Motorola will bring them after the Intel device, especially the MAXX HD as the current MAXX is having mild success thanks to it’s battery life.
