The BBC iPlayer app for iOS has been around for a while, recently it received an update with a cool feature along with some bug fixes.
The added feature now allows you to download content and store it on your device for viewing in the future.
Streaming TV is excellent but if your in a location where you struggle to get a decent signal you’ll find the app unusable. Not anymore! Download the program’s on WiFi before you leave on your travels and it’ll play without the dreaded buffering. Make sure you watch it within 30 days though, The Beeb has put a 30 day limit on all downloads.
As you can see from the screenshot, I use my iPhone to entertain the little ones. What do you use yours for? Let us know in the comments.
