It looks like the pricing for the Lumia 920 & 820 has been confirmed. French Windows Phone site, professerthibault.fr, says they have received confirmation from Nokia in France. The following is a translation from the site
Nokia France has finally unveiled the recommended selling prices for the Lumia 820, the Lumia 920 and accessories (this time for real ^ ^), all via a press release sent out this morning.
Not surprisingly, the suggested retail prices are 499 euros for the Lumia 820 (a price visibly identical throughout Europe) and 649 euros for the Lumia 920 (as in Germany, while it is 599 euros in Italy) . The Lumia 820 price seems a bit high because it puts it in direct competition with the HTC 8X, the flagship of HTC Windows Phone 8, which is the same price … The comparison may be very difficult to keep to the “mid-range” from Nokia.
If the device is directly converted when it launches in the UK that would result in a price of £525 for the Lumia 920 which puts it in the territory of the iPhone 5 and the Galaxy Note 2.
Hopefully we’ll get confirmation from Nokia soon on official UK pricing.
