The almighty Apple might be reducing the size of their iPad but let’s not forget about the Android-powered Asus Google Nexus 7. It’s now down to £169.99 for the 16GB version over at PC World.
For that you get Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean), an 800 x 1280 7″ screen (compared to the 1024 x 768 7.9″ on the iPad mini), WiFi, a 1.2 megapixel camera plus a quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 CPU.

Leigh if you want a cheap product then the nexus 7 is a great ipad alternative .
but i prefer better build quality and better OS
are the apps on the nexus 7 made for the 7″ screen are they made to use this so called NVIDIA Tegra 3 CPU……
if it needs the tegra to run then something isnt right on the OS…
the ipad may be more money but i think its worth every peeny..
Bought one of these today in Currys, got the last one. They showed me the 32gb version, but wouldnt sell me one, it goes on sale on Tuesday for £199.99 (they showed me the inventory on their computer at this price). Food for though.
