If you’re visiting us then you’re going to want one thing and one thing only. A watch. Yes, a watch.
Wait, this isn’t any normal watch. This is the hotly anticipated I’m Watch, a smartwatch running a custom version of Android. It’s got 4GB of Flash, 128MB of RAM and a 1.55″ 240×240 pixel screen (220 ppi). It seems to connect to the web via Bluetooth tethering through your phone and also features a 3.5mm audio port. It’ll show your text messages, incoming calls and will act as your alarm too.
It’s available for £244.99 with free shipping from Expansys. They have the red, black and yellow and you can get more details here.
I’ve got one of the Sony Smart watches which is OK if a bit basic (build wise if nothing else!)…fancied the look of this until I saw it has no vibrate which is precisely why I have the smartwatch, it vibrates if a call/text comes in when I don’t hear the phone if its in a coat etc. Bit of an oversight to me.
