The Huawei Ascend G330 has now appeared at TalkTalk. The device from the chinese manufacturer, which boasts a 4 inch display and Ice Cream Sandwich, is exclusive to TalkTalk and is available free of charge on tariffs starting at £10 a month. The phone certainly looks interesting and could be an excellent entry level device for those who are perhaps not interested in the higher end of the scale. Huawei says the device has a “long lasting battery” but it remains to be seen just how long it lasts as its 1500mah which is pretty standard on a phone of this size. The G330 also comes pre-loaded with apps such as BBC iPlayer and The Sims so you’ll be ready to go out of the box.

If it’s anything like the G300 which has a battery of similar capacity the battery life will be great. I get 2 – 3 days out of mine. Beats the pants off the Galaxy S2.
