Sony have today announced the brand new Xperia E handset.
Billed as a “No nonsense Android smartphone”, the entry level device sports a 3.5″ TFT touchscreen with a resolution of 320×480 pixels.
Running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich the device also has a 3.2 megapixel rear camera.
There is HD voice, 512mb RAM and a MicroSD expansion slot is also included.
According to the official Sony page, there is a Sony Walkman app, a manual equaliser and dedicated gaming keys. The handset will come in black, white and pink.
There is no official word yet as to pricing or availability dates but rest assured as soon as we have these we will bring them to you.
Crikey, Sony are this year’s HTC….a zillion different phones, often with similar specs…I can’t tell them apart anymore…is this a replacement for the Tipo, the Miro, in addition???
