One of the major drawbacks with Android 10″ tablets is the complete lack of apps specifically designed for them.
Google has recently issued a call to arms for developers to try to get them coding tablet specific apps and has decided to lead the way with a version of its Youtube app designed specifically for 10″ tablets – perfect for the new Nexus 10.
The app now sports a brand new user interface for the larger size tablet as Google looks to gain ground and make some inroads into Apple’s huge lead in the 10″ tablet sector.
The app should update automatically however it can also be downloaded from here.
Is this a new ‘call to arms’? They have been doing this for years but nobody bothers. the ‘brand new ui’ is the same as the ipad app from a few weeks ago
Still no link to this ‘call to arms’?

All I see is stuff from october which isnt breaking news. none of them are a ‘call to arms’ either as that term implies hostility which is why i asked about it.
