iOS 6.1 has today been made available as an OTA download and through iTunes.
The update (some of which is not applicable to UK users) contains the following changes:
- LTE support for more carriers (complete list of supported carriers at www.apple.com/iphone/LTE/)
- Purchase Cinema tickets through Fandango with Siri (USA only)
- iTunes Match subscribers can now download individual songs from iCloud
- New button to reset the Advertising Identifier
Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing said,
iOS 6 is the world’s most advanced mobile operating system, and with nearly 300 million iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices on iOS 6 in just five months, it may be the most popular new version of an OS in history, iOS 6.1 brings LTE support to more markets around the world, so even more users can enjoy ultrafast Safari browsing, FaceTime video calls, iCloud services, and iTunes and App Store downloads.

“a lot of which is applicable to US users only”
One feature out of the 4.
and fair enough, edited….
I still dont get why the country matters? You havent added “Not available to non EE customers” or “Not applicable to non iTunes Match subscribers”
well it mattered enough to apple to add US Only to their changelog. If its good enough for apple then it’s good enough for me.
“A lot of which is applicable to US users only” One feature is US only! Will this comment get deleted too?
what comment got deleted steve??
The one below this was deleted when I checked my disqus. It’s been restored now
i think it is just slow for some reason, mine took a while to be added.
“iOS 6 is the world’s most advanced mobile operating system”
like stolen statusbar from Android, like almost every new feature stolen from Android?
its a joke 🙂
