Over what has seemed like about the last year I have been mentioning the March of the Droids event in Manchester. I looked at the calendar yesterday and realised it is basically just a month away.
If you can’t remember what the March of the Droids event is, then let me explain.
The date – Saturday the 9th of March from about 12 noon onwards
The place – Madlab, Manchester Digital Laboratory, 36-40 Edge Street, Manchester M4 1HN
The cost – £10
The point – To meet loads of manufacturers, suppliers, bloggers, developers, mobile fans and me.
Throughout the day there are going to be some presentations, some gaming competitions and a whole lot more mobile phone based fun.
The cost basically covers the venue, the food and the drink. If you want to find out more info head over to the March of the Droids website.
As I mentioned earlier I will be there and I’ll probably be tweeting throughout the day along with maybe a write up article afterwards. Personally I can’t wait to meet other bloggers and people I’ve come across online. It also falls within my Windows Phone experiment month and I’ll be going to an Android event clutching the one thing Android fans hate slightly less than an iPhone.
If you’re already booked in already then come and say hello on the day. I’ll be the one with the Coolsmartphone T-Shirt on. If you are yet to book a ticket then head over to the March of the Droids ticket page where you can order a ticket and pay via PayPal.
