Here at MWC we see lots of different designs from the various different manufactures, but touch screen input is all over the place. One device which has a slight twist on this is the LG Optimus Vu II which instead of the traditional widescreen format has opted for a 4:3 aspect ratio making it….well…. square!
Specifications include a 5 inch XGA IPS display with resolution of 1024 x 768, 16GB built in storage with MicroSD support for up to 32GB cards, an 8 megapixel rear camera with 1.3 megapixel front facing camera for video calls.
It also comes with 2GB of RAM , 1.5GHz dual-core processor and LTE networking for really fast cara connections but also has all the usual GPS, Bluetooth, Wifi etc..
The Vu II was announced back in September last year but this is the first time we have been able to get hands on with it due to not being on sale in the UK yet.
