We took a look at the three Orange handsets that were announced a few days back at MWC. Two of them, the Orange Lumo and the Orange Nivo, are made by Gigabyte, whilst the Orange Remo is made by Alcatel.
First, let’s take a look at the Orange Lumo. It’s a full 4G smartphone and is powered by a dual-core 1.2GHz CPU with 4GB of memory. You can expand that with a microSD card slot and there’s two cameras – an 8 megapixel shooter around the back and a 1.3 megapixel camera up front. The Lumu is the highest spec of the three with aGPS, WiFi , Bluetooth and a 4.5″ 540×960 pixel and a 2100mAh battery.
Orange are offering this up to the various countries they cover but, as to whether this will turn up in the UK, it depends on EE.
Here we get a great video demo from Andy Ost..
