This, the second Orange device we’re looking at today, is the San Remo. This is probably the best looking of the bunch and is made by Alcatel.
This one packs a 4.7″ 540×960 pixel display and is powered by Android 4.1 on a dual-core 1GHz CPU with 4GB memory and microSD expansion. Around back, an 8 megapixel camera and, up front, a 2 megapixel shooter. There’s Bluetooth 4, aGPS, WiFi and an 1800mAh battery.
Here’s a full demo of the phone from Mobile World Congress 2013. Pictures below…
This Orange handset is very well specified, QHD (960 x 540) 4.3-4.7 ” is the form factor for my next handset. Its dual core 1Ghz is enough to run decent apps fluidly- As a Mid range phone it should be good value. I for one, do not need a Super Smart phone which overlaps or replicates what I do on my tablet. I’ll keep an eye out for it if is available in the U.K Q2.
