Nokia to hold Lumia event on 14th May

Nokia have got something exciting to tell us. The trouble is that they don’t want to tell us yet. They have given us a date though.

They’re going to keep us all waiting until the middle of next month. Spoilsports!

Today press invites started landing in inboxes around the world, announcing that something Finnish is going down in London on 14th May between 10am and 4pm, when “The Nokia Lumia Story Continues”.

Nothing else is given away apart from the words “See what’s next” on a stripey background that reminds me of when the polarisation goes wrong on a monitor.

Speculation is rife already. Is it the Lumia Catwalk that we saw teasers of last week? It’s surely not the Asha WhatsApp phone. Maybe a Lumia tablet? What about a new 808?

Hmmm… See what’s next. What could it mean?
