This is a handset that was £499 at one point but now it’s down to just £244.99. Powered by Windows Phone 8, it has a 1.5GHz dual-core CPU and a 4.8″ HD Super AMOLED screen. It also has GPS, Bluetooth 3.0, WiFi and an 8 megapixel camera around the back with another 1.9 megapixel shooter at the front.
Inside there’s 16GB of storage and there’s a microSD card slot for more storage. It’s powered by a 2300mAh battery and is available SIM-free from Expansys. Oh, and that £244.99 price includes delivery. Boom.
Still more than the 8GB Nexus 4, and I know which one I’d rather have…………
Funnily enough, I sold a 16GB N4 to fund one of these (at the previous price-point… grrrr), and I think it’s wonderful. Don’t miss my N4 at all.
Yeah, I have to say Windows phone is good. I had an LG Optimus 7 for 18 months and loved it. Might point here (badly made) was really that for the specs, its not really that cheap and the N4 seems better value for money.
