Vine is now out for Android and iOS and as usual it’s been left up to third party developers to create these apps.
So what is Vine? Here is how Twitter who own Vine announced it a while back.
Today, we’re introducing Vine: a mobile service that lets you capture and share short looping videos. Like Tweets, the brevity of videos on Vine (6 seconds or less) inspires creativity. Now that you can easily capture motion and sound, we look forward to seeing what you create.
6Sec is a nice Metro style app designed by Rudy Huyn who has made popular Metro apps such as Fuse and Wikipedia.
The app at the moment is a closed beta, with features like uploading due to come soon. I’m quite liking the app so far, although I’m still not sure about the whole Vine thing.
The app should be released next week and will cost $1.49. We’ll let you know when it arrives.
