Oppo announce the snappily titled R819

OPPO have announced the launch of the rather catchy named “R819” which I hope isn’t its final name, the R819 is apparently one of the thinnest and lightest smartphones in the world. Weighing in at just 110 grams, the R819 packs a sharp display, long-lasting battery life, and wide aperture camera into an ultra-thin 7.3 mm frame.

The R819 is available online for pre-order today and ships early September, although us Europeans will probably have to wait for Oppo Find Style to ship them to us first. The above shot shows a Google Play Edition look, who knows what this device will offer.

The R819 specifications are as follows:

So spec wise it’s more mid range than the Find 5. Although no doubt this will be a whole lot more affordable.
