Nokia are due to announce a range of new devices in Dubai on the 22nd of October. One of the rumoured devices is the rather large Nokia Lumia 1520.
As usual as it gets closer to the date more details leak out. The latest being some photos of it, one photo even amusingly compares it to the tiny iPhone 4S.
Spec wise it is expected that the Lumia 1520 will be pretty high spec.
– 6.0″ 1080p display
– Snapdragon 800 quad core chipset
– 20MP PureView camera sensor
– 6-element optically stabilized lens
– Internal storage 32GB
If Nokia do announce the Lumia 1520 in Dubai it’s unlikely that it will be available until later on in the year. As the Windows Phone update (GDR3) that will support 1080p displays and quad core processors reportedly won’t be around until the end of the year.
Personally I’m looking forward to seeing the next generation Windows Phone devices. But will 1080p screens and quad core processors be enough?
