A short while ago E.ON emailed me. I did the first thing that most people do when a utility company contacts you directly. I hid under the bed and shouted, “We’re not in, we never use the tumble dryer, honest!” π
After a while I emerged and found that they wanted me to do a quiz. The results of that quiz revealed that over 99% of people would post an update or photo on Facebook after the birth of their child.
It also revealed that people are becoming a little envious of their friends, with a quarter of people investing in on-demand TV viewing and hiding their “old” DVD player just in case they came under scrutiny from friends. How fickle eh? π
It’s not too bad though. Only 3% are classed as “crazed competitors”. You may know someone like this. Imagine the scene, you’ve gone out and bought yourself a new smartphone and they’ve gone out the very next day to get the same one, or a better model. I know a few people like that – one or two are real Apple fans, with Apple TV, iPads, iPods and iPhones kicking around all over the house.
Now, if you’re anything like me and have at least 5 chargers turned on at any one time to power all this gadgety goodness, E.ONβs saving energy hub is a good place to start. There’s also a very nice graphic below to show the full results of the quiz below.
I’ll leave you to decide where you sit π
