Samsung’s latest flagship device is due to go on sale on April 11 ( a date I will not forgot, not because of the launch but because its my wife’s birthday, and she doesn’t want a S5 but some handbag thing ).
Now from today you can pre-order the S5 from UK phone retailer Carphone Warehouse, but it appears that over in Korea you can already get the S5 from three of the countries mobile network operators, one being the biggest in the country. SK Telecom, KT Corp and LG Uplus have all been able to start selling the S5 because Samsung has already shipped large numbers of the handset to them prior to the official launch.
Samsung said it was “very puzzled” by the operators’ actions and was deciding how to respond.
