Ever since I saw the demo video at Google I/O back in 2012 I have been amazed by Glass and what it can offer. Sure, it is not for everyone, but there are so many possibilities not even imagined yet.
Until recently you had to live in America to be allowed onto the ‘Explorer Edition’ setup and you also had to hand over $1500 to get your own pair. Two weeks ago however Google finally added another country to the list, and great news for us is it was indeed the UK.
We are lucky enough to be one of the very few who now own a pair of these and will be putting it under testing over the coming weeks for various tasks. This is where you can also ask your own questions in the comments below. What would YOU like to see tested with Glass?
We have a pair of the White ‘Cotton’ Glass units, a prescription lens which will be fitted with my own lenses so can be used daily. We also have a pair of the ‘Active’ shades for blocking out the sun during the summer months.
If anyone has any questions about Google Glass that you want answered please leave a comment below and I will do my best to answer all questions over time.
