HTC have a wide range of devices available worldwide, not all of them are available to us here in the UK. Which is a shame as the HTC Butterfly that they released last year was a bit of a looker. This year they’ve gone and announced its successor the Butterfly 2, no confusing naming conventions here. Apart from the fact they’ve called it several different things.
Allow us to formally introduce you to the newest member in the HTC Butterfly family – the all new “HTC J butterfly HTL23,” available through KDDI in Japan. This beautiful device will also go by the name of “HTC Butterfly 2,” available through Chunghwa Telecom in Taiwan, CSL in Hong Kong, and a number of other carriers throughout South Asia.
Spec wise the Butterfly 2 is pretty much the same as the E8 and it makes me wonder when we’ll get to see a cheaper plastic version of the HTC One over here.
