Well that didn’t take long! A quick search for some details on the Nexus 7 (to be honest I was looking to compare the battery size with the Lenovo Yoga 8 tablet due to the cheap price that Argos are selling it for as reported earlier this week) returned the above webpage. I clicked on LTE version but got the same ‘no longer available for sale’ page. In fact when you do a Google search for Nexus 7 and click on the first link www.google.co.uk/nexus/7/ you arrive at this page:
So quietly, on a weekend, the Nexus line is reduced to three; the 5, 6 and 9. Inevitable I suppose, still a shame as I truly love my Nexus 7. Then again, our techno-hunger is never really sated and rather tellingly the way I discovered this was because I genuinely believe that with a bigger screen and a MUCH bigger battery the Lenovo Yoga 8 will probably be replacing my favoured tablet anyway.
