Morning all. A quick update on my continual trawl through Chinese Android handsets. Today it’s the turn of the ulefone Be Pro. It’s got a 1280×780 pixel 5.5″ IPS capacitive screen and runs Android 4.4. It’ll be getting Android 5.0 (Lollipop) in February and has an MTK6732 64-bit CPU with a quad-core 1.5GHz processor.
Not only that, but you get 2GB RAM, 16GB of on-board storage and a microSD slot for another 64GB. It’s 4G capable and of course does the usual WiFi, GPS and is completely unlocked. It’s dual-SIM, so you get a standard SIM and micro SIM slot. There’s also a 13 megapixel rear camera with flash and 8 megapixel selfie shooter.
To keep you running there’s a powerful 2600mAh battery. It’s available in deep blue and white. You can pre-order it now and, provided it goes through before January 20th, you get a premium sandstone black matte back cover to go with it.
Not only that, but because I keep sniffing around their website they’ve sent me another coupon code to share which will reduce the price from the already-reasonable $169.99 (£112.14) to just $151.99 (£100.24 / 128.89 Euro). Just put the coupon UBFPROCN in (expires March 31st) and it’ll bring the cost down. Head to the product page for more details.
