Mobile World Congress last year HTC were a little quiet. Yes, we got a quick hands-on with their Desire 816 but we couldn’t turn it on and most devices on show were earlier models.
This year we’re hoping that HTC will make more of a splash, and we’re secretly wanting the HTC One M9 to do just that.
Bloomberg are already stating that this will be the case, and HTC will be unveiling it along with their first ever smartwatch.
A “person familiar with the matter” says that the M9 will have a 20 megapixel rear shooter instead of the usual UltraPixel tech, which will be up front instead for low-light selfies. The phone itself will have a familiar M8-style design and will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 eight core CPU. It’ll be available in gold, grey and silver with Dolby 5.1 audio tech and the Sense 7 UI.
