There aren’t many smart watches compatible with iOS. Pebble is the major player at the moment and when the Apple watch comes that’ll probably be the winner for some, but I’m unsure. With the announcement of the stunning Huawei smart watch, that’s caught my attention and it’s got me looking at a move to Android.
Then I hear from the guys at Engadget that Google are possibly working on an iOS version of their Android Wear app. I don’t know too much about Android Wear being equipped to deal with Apple products but personally, I think that could bring the perfect combination for me: my iPhone 6 Plus with the Huawei Smart Watch. Yeah – we have the Apple watch coming very soon but the more I look at it, the more I don’t like it. If the price is right I’ll probably end up with one anyway. I’ll keep my ear to the ground to see if it materialises. In the mean time I’ll email some folks at Google to see if I can get a definitive. I’ll let you know.
