Whilst at MWC I met the guys from Speck, we had a chat about cases, as you’d expect. They asked me what phone I had and what case I used, I pulled out my Note 4 in an Otterbox Defender case and they actually recoiled in horror. We got onto talking about the Galaxy S6 Edge that had only just been announced and from that moment onwards they decided they wanted us to have a look at their latest cases. Fast forward a few weeks and a whole box of the things arrived in the post. They have sent us cases for the Galaxy S6 and the S6 Edge. And yes the S6 Edge cases look really cool.
I do not actually have a Galaxy S6 or S6 Edge, which makes me a little bit sad. I’ll try and rectify this in the coming weeks, but for now I’ll have to make do with some cases. They sent me the CandyShell Grip cases and the CandyShell Inked cases. All of which have a rubbery protective impact absorbing inner layer and a harder outer layer that protects from scratches and the like. The Grip cases also have these rubbery ribs on them which makes them more protected if you drop it, they feel better in the hand and they look really quite cool.

Lastly they sent me two S6 Edges cases, which are quite unique, they feel nice, without the actual phone though it is hard to tell quite how protected the curves are. It does look like the case at the top and bottom raises the phone off of a surface.
The Galaxy S6 Cases are available here and the Galaxy S6 Edge cases are available here, the UK Speck website doesn’t have either available yet. So if you really fancy a unique looking case that will offer some decent protection you may need to get them shipped from the US.
