Well here’s a thing….
We know that smartphone s and their interactive personal assistants are becoming more intelligent, but now they can inform you exactly how bad, or – if you are extremely lucky – good, the food you are eating is for you.
Imagine you are in McDonalds and you really have to know how many calories are in your Big Mac, you can simply ask Siri or Google for that vital information.
You can also inquire on other dietary components of your food such as Protein, fat, Sugar etc.
In my tests Apple’s Siri had more of the answers to my food based questions, but both systems resulted to web searches on questions it didn’t know the answer to. The Google system tried to interpret the top search result to some but not total success.
I’m sure this will be of critical importance to someone…for most of us it’s better not to look…. but it’s yet another element of our lives that out smartphone s can support us on.
Whatever next ?
‘Hey Siri, how bad will tomorrows hangover be?‘
