If you’re on a train, on a bus or simply walking around town then you’ll know that looking down and spotting a “5% charge remaining” on your smartphone means that it’s time to panic. EE were previously handing out mobile chargers, which they called Power Bars. They proved top be incredibly popular, mainly because they were free for EE customers, and they sold out shortly after.
Now they’re back, and if you’re ready you can get them from 8AM on Wednesday June 24th. We found out that the devices aren’t actually yours but it’s still a good deal, let’s face it.
So, to get one from Wednesday, here’s the details..
-If you’re an EE, Orange or T-Mobile mobile customer, just text POWER to 365 (*texts cost 35p). EE will then send you a code, pick up your Power Bar at any EE store.
-If you’re an EE broadband customer, text JOIN plus your EE landline number to 60005 and follow the instructions (*texts cost 35p).
We’d advise that you do this quickly, because these little gadgets will probably disappear very quickly indeed again.
