Another week, another handset from Gearbest, and this time it’s the XiaoMi mi4i, which I’ve been having a nose at because they’ve dropped the price from $485.62 (£308.23) to $237.67 (£150.85). It supports dual SIM and is powered by Android 5.0.
Specs include a 5″ 1920×1080 pixel screen, 13 megapixel f2.0 rear camera, 5 megapixel front camera and inside there’s a Qualcomm MSM8939 Snapdragon 615 64-bit octa-core CPU. This one has been receiving lots of positive reviews and although it’s billed as a “flagship phone for emerging markets”, it would also do well against the existing mid-range handsets in the developed world.
Measuring in at 138.1×69.6×7.8mm it weighs 130 g and that CPU will give you 4 cores at 1.7 GHz with 4 at 1 GHz. No memory slot here from what we can see, but there’s 16GB on-board storage, 2GB RAM, 3.5mm audio port, WiFi, GPS, BLuetooth 4.1, FM radio and a fast battery charging system. It does 4G too.
More details on the product listing, but be quick.
