Did anyone else notice that Motorola had released a new phone in the USA over the last few days?
Well they did and it was called the Droid Turbo 2.
Now Motorola have decided that we UK buyers are also worthy of such a powerful device too, albeit with a tweaked name. it is now being called the Moto X Force (oooohhhh just feel the power in saying that).
Fot all for all intents and purposes this was just a rebranded Moto X Style for Verizon but it did have a few differences that you may want to pay attention to.

I am very impressed with the spec list here and I’m also vglad to see features such as water repellency, NFC, a front facing flash, fast charging and QI charging support. I have always been a fan of the Motorola build quality and they seem to have ramped this up from the Moto X Style quite nicely. The phone will be coming to a Carphone Warehouse store near you soon and can be ordered from Motorola direct. This will allow you to take advantage of the Moto Maker option as well.
With regard to the screen, Motorola is stating that they will honour a 4-year guarantee if you shatter your screen. Now, there are some terms to that guarantee, but it is nice to see them putting their money where their mouth is. Something to bear in mind is that they don’t cover scratches – just cracks or shatters.
Additional warranty coverage for those Products that contain the
ShatterShield™ Display System: the ShatterShield™ display system is made up’of 3 separate components; the display, embedded lens and a
consumer-replaceable protective lens. The display and embedded lens are
warranted against shattering and cracking for four (4) years from the original date of consumer purchase. The consumer-replaceable protective lens is not covered by this Limited Warranty, but should always be in place to prevent scratches and other damage to the underlying components
Here is what it looks like when broken down …
We have asked for a review unit and will get into the nitty gritty of the phone once it arrives here at Coolsmartphone towers. In the mean time enjoy this second little video below.
