Before Christmas there had been lots of speculation that March 2016 would see the release of the second generation Apple Watch. Looking back, it isn’t obvious whether these rumours were based on anything other than the fact that it would mark a year since the original release. Fresh rumours (you’ve gotta love them!) suggest that instead of the Apple Watch 2, what we’ll see is a slightly revised version of the first one, an Apple Watch 1s if you will. This revamped Watch will supposedly see the addition of a Facetime camera but little else. Supposedly the Watch won’t change shape but might include a bigger battery, while the long-suspected additional wifi capabilities (meaning it can function without a phone) may or may not be included. In short, there is lots of contradictory speculation but little in the way of solid facts. Other stories from China suggest that the new Apple Watch has entered production, but this have been discounted elsewhere. In short, there are lots of guesses going on! Do readers have any rumours to add to the mill?
Apple Watch 1s anyone?
