They’ve not had the best success here in the UK, but still, it’s a bit of a surprise to see US bookseller Barnes & Noble leaving our shores. They strangely chose World Book Day to make the announcement, with sales of books coming to an end on the 15th of March.
The store on the Nook will be closing down, as will the online shop and the Android app. If you’ve purchased a book already and are worried about how to re-download it, Barnes & Noble tell us..

It looks like Amazon and, to some extent, Google Books have consumed any share of the market. Shame really, because competition is a good thing.
