Hello all, hope you’re well. For the last few days I’ve been up on the Lake District. Not for a holiday, but for a rather grueling bike ride up 30% hills and a lot of very rugged mountains. It was a combined 20,000 foot climb in wind and rain across some beautiful but extremely challenging scenery.
As mentioned earlier, we’re doing it for a charity called Edwards Trust. They support children and families who are facing loss and surviving bereavement.
Please, what we did is nothing compared to what this charity does. If you’ve got a few quid, please help. I want to thank everyone we met, including the people in the Lily Bar in Ambleside and the campers at the Sticklebarn in Great Langdale for giving us cash without us approaching or asking. Really heartwarming.
As is usual for me, I try and link this tenuously with technology, so here’s all three days as recorded by my Strava…
Thank you.
